Amended Bylaws of The Norwegian Society of Texas

Article I. Name and Registered Location
The name of the corporation is The Norwegian Society of Texas, hereinafter referred to as "the
NST". The registered office of the NST shall be the office of the registered agent. The registered
agent and registered office of the NST may be changed by the Althing Executive Committee.

Article II. Non-Profit and Tax-Exempt Status
NST is a non-profit corporation organized under the laws of the State of Texas. Its charter was filed
with the Secretary of State of the State of Texas on March 25, 1975, Charter No. 358002-1.
All members of NST, the Althing Executive Committee and other committees, and all local Chapter
officers and members, shall always conduct their affairs and activities in such a manner as to
maintain the non-profit status of the corporation and to assure compliance with the Internal
Revenue Code of the United States and legal regulations and requirements governing tax-exempt
corporations.
