Calendar of Events for Troll Hjem
Everyone is invited to come and join our activities throughout the year.
“Our chapter meets regularly the fourth Sunday of February, March, April, September, October and November in the Fellowship Hall of Trinity Lutheran Church, 3621 Tulsa Way, Fort Worth, TX 76109 at 3pm with brief business meeting followed by a short appropriate program presented by a member or guest related to Norwegian life or lore.” A host and/or hostess will prepare a refreshment table and those attending will bring lite refreshments, snacks, etc. for a social gathering following the program.
We recognize the following “special” Norwegian celebrations during the year and they are: Syttende Mai (May 17) Norwegian Constitution signed in 1814, Sankthansaften around 1st day of summer, Leif Erikson day, October 9th and Jultrefest in December. The members generally make reservations at various locations for a luncheon and social gathering.
